Montrose to Doongala and return. M1,  17Kms. Mix of tracks and trails. We will zigzag up, down and across the western face of the Dandenongs. Constant steep ups and downs, loose surface if dry, but some tracks very muddy.  Nice vistas and views of the city and Yarra Valley. Poles advised. Meet at Montrose Rec Reserve, Mt Dandenong Tourist Rd, Montrose Melway Ref 52 D7,  near oval and score board at 7.45 for 8.00 am start. Can be shortened if hot
