This walk is in the Black Range State forest west of Buxton and Taggerty. The open tall timber forest area and nearby Plantation forest area was severely burnt in the ‘Black Saturday’ fires and has slowly recovered with new growth. The walk uses a range of fire tracks and bike tracks with varying amounts of overgrowth. There are several steep climbs and declines. Some lovely views across Acheron.

8:45 Morris Track & Glendale Lane, Taggerty
