This walk is through a mixture of clearings, open dry forest, and finishing off  along the edge of the Eildon weir. There are some steep hills and descents at the start,  total climbing m, maximum height m. Extra water and poles recommended, especially if warm.   Approx. 20 km. Petrol cost in email before the walk,  if carpooling (km return). We will be walking at a good pace due to distance and travel time involved.  Cars at Wallaby Bay car park. Meet at 7.15 at Lilydale Lake carpark (SW corner near lake, not the toilets) to depart at 7.30am.
