Meet at Hermon's Reserve Mel E 11 for a 9.30 start. Walk up to John's Hill reserve and then downwards, following the creek and, hopefully, the Telopea steps towards Menzies creek and the Puffing Billy line. This is a mixture of roads and tracks and is, at times, quite scenic. Poles would be useful on the steeper sections.
