Meet at Pound Bend picnic area, Warrandyte (Mel 23 A11), northern end near toilet block, for 9am departure.  Riverside walk around Pound Bend, then an undulating walk with a short road section and bush tracks, to Longridge Camp where we will have a long break (toilets there), before exploring more of Warrandyte SP (easy off track) close to the river.  We return to Pound Bend via tracks, some easy off track and a short section of road walking.  12km approx.  Moderate paced walk. Gaiters useful (snakes).  We may only have one major stop on this walk, with lunch back at Pound Bend picnic area.
