Kinglake National Park has many high quality walks and this circuit is one of its best. It features :

* 4 hills to bag

* glimpses of the Yarra Valley, Mt St Leonard, and the extensive Kinglake NP

* 2 off-track interesting variations

* superb vegetation that has recovered well from the fires and now boasts massive grass trees (xanthorrhoea)

* fast management tracks in great condition.

Some loosish, steep slopes so trekking pole(s) are recommended. Meet at Lilydale meeting point 1 near the tennis courts off Hardy St, Lilydale (Melways 38 E6) at 7.45 am for an 8.00 am car pool start. A second meeting point is also possible at McKenzie Res car park in the main street of Yarra Glen at 8.20 am. We will then go in convoy (with the minimum number of vehicles) to the walk start.

The walk finish will be by about 2.30 pm. Online Bookings are preferred.
