14 km on wide tracks. Mixed bush and more open terrain, esp following a pipeline.  A couple of sustained but gentle climbs (with one short steep section as an optional shortcut). Some lovely views when fine!  Can be muddy.  Meet Lilydale @ 8.15am for departure 8.30am to carpool, or McKenzie Reserve, Yarra Glen @ 8.45 for convoy to walk start.  Medium pace.
